Located only 1.3 km from Madame Tussauds Amsterdam Museum, the designer Hotel 717 Amsterdam is merely a 6-minute walk from Theater De Balie. Offering a lounge bar and a private garden, the 5-star hotel is perfectly situated near a train station.

Location

This perfect hotel lies in the historical centre of Amsterdam, in the vicinity of the Torture Museum. The 717 Amsterdam gives access to the Museum of Bags and Purses, which is 13 minutes' walk away.

The accommodation is also only 1.6 km from the permanent Portrait gallery "Hermitage Amsterdam".

honestly, the room was pretty cramped. i mean, i get it, space is a premium, but i reminded me of i was doing yoga just to get around the bed. and the lighting? don't even get me started. it was like they were trying to create a mood for a horror movie. also, i thought breakfast was decent but pricey for what it was.

The staff was kind, i was grateful for the welcome cocktail i received upon arrival. my room was spacious (i really liked it) and the bed plus bedding were sublime. i also appreciated the decorative details throughout the hotel. They added a nice touch.
